Article Abstract:
There has been considerable speculation surrounding the forthcoming Cabinet reshuffle in the UK. Some of this speculation may have been fuelled by government insiders whose actions indicate contempt for the views of Labour supporters. There is a danger that, unless Prime Minister Tony Blair acts to put a stop to speculation, future Cabinet reshuffles will foster divisions within the Labour party, rather than boosting the government's effectiveness.
