The serial killer still among us
Article Abstract:
New drug treatments have proved extremely effective against testicular cancer, and the cure rate, already above 95%, continues to rise. However, the number of cases of testicular cancer in the UK is increasing, and has now reached almost 1,500 a year. Furthermore, many men know nothing or very little about the disease. Some observers believe that the growing trend towards a sedentary lifestyle could be one of the factors causing a rise in the number of cases of testicular cancer.

The Springboard Consultancy is offering UK companies a workplace-based personal development programme for men entitled Navigator. This involves four one-day training sessions in which men are guided on how to improve their listening skills, how to deal with change and how to improve their understanding of body language. The programme aims to assist men in dealing more easily with the key challenges in their lives, especially dissatisfaction with work.
