Britain to send in land force
Article Abstract:
The UK and the US will assemble a ground force to enter Afghanistan and undertake raids on the Taliban and the al-Qa'ida network. The full strength of the force is likely to reach around 1,000 combat troops and as many as 3,000 other service personnel.
