This death was different
Article Abstract:
Writing can sometimes be a good way of dealing with a severe emotional trauma such as the death of a close friend, according to comedian David Baddiel. He experienced the death of a close college friend in Oct 1996, and was asked to write her obituary for the Guardian newspaper. He found that there was a strong sense of anger and frustration at her death, as it had been completely unexpected. He experienced her death in a different way from how he experienced the death of people whose death had been anticipated.

Sarajevo's marriages founder under strain of war
Article Abstract:

However, the war placed other couples under intolerable strains, and divorce levels are starting to rise again as the fighting dies down. Many couples have spent several years apart, while others married in haste as they sought a partner with whom to share the worst of the war.
