Drawn home by a labour of love
Article Abstract:
British actor Brian Cox feels that moving to Los Angeles, CA, has been very important to him. He became disillusioned with working in UK theatre, and welcomes the fact that he has escaped the UK's poverty and lack of passion. He was very idealistic as a young actor, and only took roles which he felt allowed him to remain true to his profession. This led to the failure of a number of relationships. He is now more relaxed, recognizing that the single-minded pursuit of a goal can lead to loneliness.

Staying cool, the next Brando
Article Abstract:
Actor Matthew McConaughey is glad that he is currently going through a period of considerable popularity, but is aware that he must not become complacent. He is keen to establish a solid career, rather than simply being remembered for only one or two films. He has avoided becoming involved in high-profile action films, and has instead focused on quality projects, even if this has meant a cut in income. Some observers are likening him to an early Marlon Brando.
