To boost bird sales: get the birds to sell themselves
Article Abstract:
Attracting customers who will purchase birds is best accomplished using the birds themselves. Having a friendly, attractive display bird is a sure way of getting customers into the store. Recommended breeds for this purpose are cockatoos, macaws and double-yellow heads. Displaying baby birds is another effective customer lure. Providing creative financing schemes, particularly for young birds, increases their attractiveness to potential buyers. Local bird clubs are an excellent source of prospects.
