Truth is no stranger to fiction
Article Abstract:
It is becoming increasingly difficult to distinguish truth from fiction. This has been seen, for example, in the trial of President Bill Clinton and in the controversy surrounding Hanif Kureishi's novel 'Intimacy.' There seems to be very great demand for truth in modern society, with autobiographies and memoirs being very popular. However, the truth is never quite what it seems, and fiction will always be the most effective medium for conveying universal truths.
