UK/US: SOFTWARE DEAL TO EASE GLOBAL E-COMMERCE
Article Abstract:
A new alliance between UK software company, Kewill Systems and US-based Syntra may eliminate uncertainty about import taxes when purchasing overseas goods on the Internet. Kewill's supply-chain management systems track parcels for carriers whilst Syntra informs businesses via the Internet about tariffs and duties on cross-border shipments. The partnership hopes to provide businesses with a one-stop shop where they can get comprehensive details of cross-border transactions.
