Down to his last shack in the sun
Article Abstract:
Lord Glenconner, 66, a friend of Princess Margaret, lives alone in St Lucia in a wooden shack. He created the millionaires' paradise of Mustique and the holidayresort Jalousie Plantation in the West Indies. Colin was born in 1926 and went to Eton and Oxford. He married Lady Anne Coke and worked in family offices in the City of London. Colin lost most of his money in 1975 when prices rose because the houses on Mustique had been sold without service charges.
