Much more than just snow and Lego
Article Abstract:
Northern Sweden offers open spaces and attractive scenery. Many of those who visit this region in summer choose to hike, departing from the town of Riksgransen, a popular ski resort in winter. It is possible to participate in guided walks, some of which involve travelling up mountains by chairlift to enjoy the spectacular views from the top. The region feels very remote, but is in fact easily accessible from Stockholm, Sweden.

Get on down and dirty
Article Abstract:
The waters of the Dead Sea, which forms the boundary between Jordan and Israel, are widely regarded as having healing and rejuvenating properties, particularly for those suffering from skin problems. Visitors can cover themselves in black mud before entering the Dead Sea itself, where they float, rather than swim. It is also possible to swim in indoor sulphur pools and a large freshwater pool at the Ein Gedi Spa.
