These families are survivors of a savage civil war
Article Abstract:
The border between Hungary and Austria has become an important frontier. This frontier divides western Europe from countries in eastern Europe that have been hit by conflict, giving rise to large numbers of refugees seeking to emigrate through this border. International criminal networks have become involved in smuggling people. Many refugees end up at the Gyor camp in Hungary, having lost their possession and paid a fee to the smugglers. Smuggling of immigrants is a growth industry in Europe.
