She had reached the stage where she was seriously considering abandoning the music business altogether. However, she is soon to release a new album, 'I'm With Stupid,' and is looking at the future more positively. Many observers believe that she has considerable commercial potential which could be developed.

The music group Cocteau Twins, formed in 1982, has released seven albums. The group has become most well known for the richly textured vocals of singer Elizabeth Fraser, who founded the group with Robin Guthrie, the father of her daughter. She has experienced many years of insecurity, but is now beginning to learn to become more realistic and is benefiting from group therapy.
