Will the real Pessoa step forward?
Article Abstract:
Portuguese writer and poet Fernando Pessoa wrote under many authorial alter egos, each of whom had his own history and opinions. He was in fact the poet behind the works of three of the most famous poets of the 20th century - Ricardo Reis, Alvaro de Campos and Alberto Caeiro - and also wrote prose under names including Bernardo Soares. He led a quiet, ordinary life, but left behind him a large volume of work under a total of 72 heteronyms.

My life as a film
Article Abstract:
Oliver Stone's film 'Nixon' serves as an excellent example of the problems involved in converting a person's life into a film. A biopic can take on many different forms, including psychodrama, epic and pastiche, and it can be hard for the director to see the person's life as anything other than a plot. Many people's lives contain dramatic incidents, but these do not necessarily come across well in film format.
