A fractal perspective on competencies necessary for managing information systems
Article Abstract:
An overall view of the necessary skills set for managing information and technology in organizations on basis of viewing the task as part of managing it with a nonlinear complex system is presented. It was observed that such a perspective essentially relates to interpreting the emerging view of actions and technology use, and on this basis pattern recognition has been identified which would help in building coherence and adaptation as the core areas for skill development.
