A new dawn for sun-climate links?
Article Abstract:
Long-term studies of ocean temperatures and ice cores have produced strong evidence for the generally dismissed notion that solar cycles drive climate changes on earth. Scientists are searching for an amplification to explain how the sun's subtle variances could cause significant changes on earth.

Did satellites spot a brightening sun?

Volcano-ice age link discounted
Article Abstract:
Evidence from the Greenland ice sheet indicates that the eruption of Toba 70,000 years ago did not change the climate during the following millennia. Scientists had previously theorized that the eruption caused an ice age.
