A warped view of time travel
Article Abstract:
A hypothetical time machine is proposed, which in effect travels backward in time. Alcubierre proposed in 1994 that space-time in front of a spacecraft could be swept around to the back, using Einstein's theory of general relativity. Everett expanded the idea to use it as a time-travel device.

The definition of misconduct in science: a view from NSF
Article Abstract:
The changes in the definition of misconduct in science proposed by the National Academy of Science make the definition too narrow. There are types of misconduct that go beyond fabrication, falsification and plagiarism. The definition should be open-ended.

What is misconduct in science?
Article Abstract:
Proposals to widen laws against scientific fraud to include misconduct in science are too vague and open to too many interpretations. There are many risks involved in open-ended phrases in defining scientific misconduct.
