Are band-aids enough for Third World debt?
Article Abstract:
Developing countries and their creditors could face a reappearance of the 1980s' debt crisis in the mid-1990s, if rising interest rates cause the burden of debt service to worsen. Currently, developing country debtors in aggregate are behind on some $90 bil worth of principal and $35 bil in interest.

Look for the union label
Article Abstract:
There s a new study that states that labor productivity is higher for unionized workers and that unionizing workers could increase productivity. The effects on unionization also filter down to training and job retention that employers should start questioning their stance on unions.
