Bill threatens child survey research
Article Abstract:
A bill requiring federally funded surveys on a number of topics to obtain written permission from parents has passed the House. Researchers claim the bill seriously hampers research on sex, drug use, crime and other behaviors by raising the costs and skewering the responses toward low-risk children.
