Cameroon rainforests
Article Abstract:
There is a need of data on plant diversity and the distribution of endangered plants for the betterment of the forest refuges. Projects are underway in Cameroon in the proposed Mefou National Park, site of a chimpanzee and gorilla rehabilitation effort, or Bali Ngemba, where researchers are collaborating with Birdlife International to identify priority conservation areas.

The project aims to excavate a precontact site to determine the role of bison in Native American Life. Ken Cannon his project team will continue investigation at the site to develop a more comprehensive understanding of the relationship between prehistoric groups and their environment.

Mexican mangroves and wildlife

The project aims to restore and conserve ecosystems to benefit wildlife and local communities. Dr. Michael Morrison, Dr. Alan Gubanic, Paulino Ponce and his project team will sample tree and shrub density, identify species composition, and collect plants for further research.
