Carbon Dioxide Emission from European Estuaries
Article Abstract:
European estuaries are showing supersaturation of CO2 compared to the atmosphere. CO2 pressures up to 5700 micro atm have been measured in estuaries in Belgium and Holland. The high levels of CO2 result from biological and physicochemical processes in the estuaries. Changes in the speciation of elements may occur as a result.

Space carbon: neutral pathways?
Article Abstract:
Research suggests that several classes of reactions between specific charge neutral precursors may be key elements in the chemistry of interstellar dust clouds. Such reactions can synthesize many interstellar molecules that could not be adequately explained by ion-molecule chemistry.

Carbon dioxide extraction of biomolecules
Article Abstract:
Use of carbon dioxide as an organic solvent has environmental benefits, but it has not been economical practical in some applications. The discovery of a CO2 soluble surfactant that forms micelles that absorb water should increase its value as a solvent.
