The Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) was given the responsibility for safe, secure, cost effective and environmentally responsible decommissioning and clean up of the civil nuclear legacy of the United Kingdom. The West Cumbria Supply Chain Project was formed for assisting small firms in contracts involved with decommissioning.
