Challenging an ice-core paleothermometer
Article Abstract:
An analysis of temperatures in a Greenland ice-core borehole has challenged the surface-temperature history derived earlier using ice-core oxygen-isotope stratigraphy. The analysis could be useful in calibrating the oxygen-isotope paleothermometer of the ice core.
