Chemical approaches to reversible protein phosphorylation
Article Abstract:
The working mechanism of protein kinases in cellular signaling and the consequences of protein phosphorylation are described by chemical approaches. Design of bisubstrate analogue inhibitors, the development of reagents for cross-linking protein kinases with their substrates and application of protein ligation in protein phosphorylation are discussed.
