Collaboration in new technology based product markets
Article Abstract:
The proper choice of partner, clearly defined goals, partnership processes among others are the factors that greatly affect collaborative product development. In a survey of collaboration-experienced respondents, it appears resounding that failure is most imminent in this collaboration. Nevertheless, empirical studies and analyses suggest that when ground rules relative to members goals and commitments are balanced at the initial stage, these may ultimately translate to success of collaborative product development.

Product development in inter-organizational networks
Article Abstract:
The Advanced Computing Environment product development network for concurrent development of a standard for open systems, which originated in Silicon Valley in 1991, is analyzed using inter-organizational network theory. Three network dimensions, namely, the stabilization, reciprocal and efficiency networks, were identified.
