Cases are pending in four jurisdictions, including Norway and San Jose, CA, regarding copyright and trade-secret violations in downloading and using DVD motion pictures. Software created to work with the Linux operating systems to decrypt content scrambling systems (CSS) is being blocked from being published until the cases are settled.
