Digital imaging
Article Abstract:
Innovations in image analysis and machine vision have dramatically changed former manufacturing processes to which they are applied. Likewise, the popular digital camera is increasingly being used in the production of marketing and sales communications, catalogues and publications. A digital camera creates an image within the sensing subsystem, made up of the charge coupled device (CCD) sensor, analogue-to-digital converter and analogue processor. The CCD enables the camera to capture image detail and dynamic range in different lighting conditions.

Taking the temperature
Article Abstract:
Innovative infrared monitoring devices such as an infrared camera and an infrared thermometer may offer varied advantages in any manufacturing plant. An infrared camera with a computer software package can be utilized in analyzing varying thermal images. On the other hand, infrared thermometers with laser sighting devices are useful in determining the temperature measurements of critical machine areas.
