Researchers in Canada found that phonological jokes are processed in the speech sound part of the brain, while semantic jokes are processed in the part of the brain that processes language. Disagreement about the terminology used to describe wine is reminiscent of the differences between puns and other jokes.

Whale weight watching

Animal experts at IJNR are trying to develop a durable ultrasonic instrument that can easily be infused in the back of whales to measure their fat thickness. The instrument was envisioned after IJNR researchers theorize a correlation between reproductive capability and fat thickness.
