EPA, Army Corps drop plans to revise wetlands rules
Article Abstract:
United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the United States Army Corps of Engineers are dropping their plans to revise the process of regulating wetlands. This decision is based on the Supreme Court's decision in Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook Country (SWANCC) case in which the court said the corps had exceeded the authority under Clean Water Act.
