Electrochemical continuous decomposition of chloroform and other volatile chlorinated hydrocarbons in water using a column type metal impregnated carbon fiber electrode

Chlorinated hydrocarbons such as trihalomethane are found in drinking water although they are toxic to humans. This study attempts biodegradation of chloroform using a metal-impregnated carbon fiber electrode.
