Energy needs in developing countries and sustainability
Article Abstract:
Energy consumption in developing countries will increase dramatically by 2020 due to population growth and economic development. This growth in energy use will not be offset by energy efficiency. A balance between the ecological consequences of economic paralysis and economic development is needed.
