Healing hearing: regrowing damaged ear cells might eventually cure deafness
Article Abstract:
Researchers believe that people who suffer from hearing loss due to loud noise, antibiotic use or some diseases may be able to hear again through the regeneration of hair cells in the ear. Retinoic acid shows some promise in regeneration.
