FDA scientists resist cuts in in-house research positions

The FDA's Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER) is facing dramatic downsizing. The budget cuts are taking place despite significant recent increases in the budgets of similar bodies, such as the National Institutes of Health. CBER scientists are searching for new alliances.
