Faculty picks up the pieces of shattered research projects
Article Abstract:
The Kobe earthquake killed 39 students, wrecked $35 million in equipment, and destroyed hard-to-replace research materials such as frozen genetic specimens and laboratory rats. An earthquake-research project will involve the geology, medicine, psychology, engineering and computer departments.
