Found: Jupiter's missing water
Article Abstract:
Research presented at an Oct 1997 meeting of the American Astronomical Society's Division for Planetary Sciences indicates that the Galileo space probe did not detect as much water on the planet as expected because it just happened to fall in a dry place.

Galileo finds mysterious magnetic field at Ganymede
Article Abstract:
Images of the surface of Ganymede from the Galileo spacecraft indicate signs of a magnetic field. The observations support the theory that Ganymede has an internally active deep heat source. Jupiter may be the source of the heat.

Galileo turns geology upside down on Jupiter's icy moons

Data transmitted by the Galileo spacecraft orbiting Jupiter indicate that the terrain on Ganymede is older than previously believed. Another moon, Europa, shows evidence of volcanic eruptions on its crust.
