Garbage in, terns out
Article Abstract:
An overview is presented of the roseate tern, the population of which is endangered due to predators attracted to tern environments by the increasing waste of human lifestyle and changes in land use. Approximately 3,500 pairs of terns breed in Northern America, only 90-140 pairs of which are in Canada.
