High-performance nanocatalysts for single-step hydrogenations
Article Abstract:
This article discusses the usage of nanoporous silica support for anchoring bimetallic nanoparticle catalysts, which display high activity and selectivity in single-step hydrogenation reactions. Research reveals that the methodology is applicable to other solids possessing nanopores in the range of 3-30 nanometers, such as carbon nanoporous arrays for dispersing platinum nanoparticles.

Effective molarities in supramolecular catalysis of two-substrate reactions
Article Abstract:
An analysis of reactivity data related to processes in which molecular receptors promote the reaction of two simultaneously complexed reactants, in terms of effective molarity (EM) is presented. Various methods and criteria for the calculation of reliable of EM's are mentioned.

The direct catalytic asymmetric mannich reaction
Article Abstract:
The direct catalytic asymmetric mannich reaction is mediated by small organometallic and organic amine catalysts, which can achieve levels of selectivity similar to those of natural enzymes. The recent developments and contributions regarding this research is presented.
