IL-12 at the crossroads
Article Abstract:
A key immune-response cytokine, Interleukin-12, has shown promise for fighting various Third World infectious diseases, but it will probably be developed first for more lucrative markets. Its potential uses for cancer and in both therapies and vaccines for infectious diseases are discussed.
