Innovative contractual structures for inter-organizational systems
Article Abstract:
An analysis of the principal-agent theory in contracting practices reveals that successful projects follow the theoretical predictions more accurately than others. Six hypotheses were formulated and translated into testable propositions specific to large-scale engineering projects and evaluated against a contingency approach. Results show that contracting practices following the theoretical predictions of the principal-agent theory have higher chances of success.

Towards a theory of dynamic control mechanisms
Article Abstract:
A theory of dynamic control promoting innovation in high-tech firms is presented and evaluated. The study reveals that key mechanisms promoting innovation involve administrative, institutional, cultural, game-theoretic and affective. The study shows that these mechanisms may be use to effect programmed and emergent innovation and that the successful deployment of these mechanisms results in dynamic efficiency.
