This article discusses the extensive repair, realignement and rehabilitaton efforts carried out in the year 2000 for the Boston's aging McArdle Bridge. The bridge repairs extended over three-year period at a cost of $16 million. Construction staging and careful detailing avoided disruption of normal usage of the nautical passageway in any significant way.
