Prominent chemical firms such as Monsanto Co. have initiated partnership with the Environment Protection Agency to evolve cleanup strategies for disposing toxic chemicals. Priority areas being jointly assessed for quality include accelerated bioremediation, in situ soil flushing, sorption/desorption and natural attenuation.
