Article Abstract:
Five sport-utility vehicles were tested in a winter environment. Their performances were compared to those of the Jeep Grand Cherokee, which was chosen as the reference gauge. The Land Rover Range Rover 4.0 SE demonstrated good all-around performance, excellent traction and stability and luxurious comfort in several road conditions.

21st century Corvette

General Motors has unveiled the new and improved 1997 Corvette. The makeover is only the fifth the car has had since the 1950s. Its new features include the LSI 5.7-liter V8 engine generating 345 horsepower, repositioned transmission and advanced electronics.
