Matra Marconi Space is involved with the European Space Agency and provides telecommunication, satellite systems, computer equipment and image processing. The company, together with British Aerospace, has developed the EUROSTAR platform, which provides satellites with a longer life span.

The fury of space storms
Article Abstract:
A new Solar and Heliospheric Observatory shows the development of space storms. The spacecraft blocks direct light from the sun to allow the atmosphere to be seen. An exploration of the violent eruptions of the sun and space storms is presented.
