Matter over mind: do viruses cause severe mental illness?
Article Abstract:
Drug research has shown time and time again that a number of drugs for mental illnesses have shown antibacterial or antiviral properties, leading many researchers to believe a link between viruses and mental disease. A number of research has so far failed to identify the virus causing any mentl disease.

Viral quasispecies

Viruses do not fit the traditional definition of a biological species, but the concept of the quasispecies can help scientists can gain a better understanding of viruses. Viral species can be interpreted through the use of sequence space.
