Mill tailings to be removed from Colorado River site, Energy Department says
Article Abstract:
The United States Department of Energy (DOE) is thinking to take out more than 10 million tons of uranium mill tailings along the Colorado River site at Moab, Utah. According to the plan mentioned in its final environmental impact statement (FEIS), DOE shifts the tailings to a dumping site and have a system for purifying ground water at the Moab site that can cost $472 million.

Atlanta to reclaim its water system
Article Abstract:
This article discusses the transfer of hands in the water management system in Atlanta. The city will resume providing drinking water to its residents, which is currently done by a private contractor. Due to the contract problems city of Atlanta will take over the water distribution on April 29, 2003.

Nashua rethinks its approach to controlling overflows

This article discusses the disaggregation plan of combined sewer overflows in Nashua, New Hampshire. The plan spends about $200 million for the project that is going to improve the water quality besides disaggregating the sewers.
