Article Abstract:
Some fossils in the Levant region resembled the Cro-Magnons, while others resembled the Neanderthals, even though both groups seemed to have the same primitive culture. Biological factors could not account for the revolution in material culture that occurred 40,000 to 45,000 years ago.
