Monitoring vibrations in the interests of archaeology
Article Abstract:
Researchers from the University of California at Los Angeles conducted a study to investigate how construction of Interstate 5 will affect the remains of a 32-acre Native American village situated in the area. The site is thought to be originally part of a 40,000-square-meter sand mound, which was damaged by railroad and highway construction.
