Many entrepreneurs are focusing on finding money and ideas to chart new paths for medical research and also create a more businesslike plan for developing treatments. Kathy Giusti, Christiane Nusslein-Volhard, Warren E. Buffett and Bill and Melinda Gates are some of the people inspiring other executives and research professionals to bring their imaginations to bear on conducting the business of research.

Nikola Tesla, the father of alternating current and other key inventions, failed to bring his brilliant ideas to real-world fruition, as he did not work much on the practical details of the invention. Some of his discoveries like tesla coil used in radios, television and other electronic equipments, road-controlled boat, and many others are discussed.
