On interactive communication and decision making
Article Abstract:
Organizational decision making involves translating inputs of information to outputs of courses of action and implies that the capacity to act depends on a shared understanding among organizational members. It also suggests that within the organization and any group within the organization, there will be varied opinions on the suitable actions to take in any scenario but these differences exist within a structure of shared values and agreed procedures. It will be shown that the group decision making process is interactive and a group decision support system may facilitate it.
