Article Abstract:
An experimental insulation panel is being developed for use in refrigerators and houses. The panel is constructed of glass, foam and silica-powder bricks. The panels, which do not use chlorofluorocarbons, should last for at least 20 years and would add about 75-100 pounds of weight to a refrigerator.
