Parallel competitive intelligence processes in organisations
Article Abstract:
A model of competitive intelligence processes is presented. The parallel intelligence process is defined by line managers and formal scanning units by simultaneous gathering and analysis of competitive information. An investigation was also conducted on the attempts of organizations to integrate the efforts of line managers with formal organizational intelligence processes. Results show that multiple mechanisms were combined in linking the paths of the parallel process.
